Danish

At our new Danish Language Village cabins are nestled in the woods along with the new weaving/crafts studio and group activity areas.  This new site, which we share with Sjölunden, the Swedish village, is being developed along the idea of a lovely fishing village.  Watch as we continue to grow at this site!  The Danish village also shares facilities with Salolampi, the Finnish village.  We also continue to use our own unique 17th century Danish setting at den danske landsby.

Up to 10 villagers and two counselors reside in each bright and cozy cabin, with separate cabins for boys and girls. Each newly built cabin also offers a loft space for relaxing and sharing special moments with your cabin mates.  There is ample storage space and private restroom and shower facilities are located within each cabin.

Amenities:

  • A traditional lake-side camp setting
  • weaving/arts and crafts studio
  • woodworking workshop
  • den danske landsby
  • windmill environmental learning center with Danish garden cottage
