Get involved in the Language Villages’ Community

In addition to joining our Global Network, you can also become a Village Advocate, an Alumni Ambassador, or a Local Leader.

Village Advocates

Help promote Concordia Language Villages’ message in your local community. You can give presentations at schools, hang posters around your community, or simply share our mission with people you know. As soon as you sign up to be a Village Advocate, you will receive an AdvoKit starter package to help you promote the Villages in your community, including posters, program guides, brochures, DVDs, business cards, and a complimentary gift.

Alumni Ambassadors

Reconnect with friends and colleagues from the Villages and help us to reconnect with those people as well. Alumni Ambassadors work both within and outside of their communities to find more alumni from their generation at the Villages. They help us to get that information on file in our offices and encourage the alumni they find to get involved in the Global Network. For the Language Villages’ 50th anniversary celebration in the summer of 2011, we are committed to reconnecting with at least 50,000 alumni. Become an Alumni Ambassador and help us reach our goal of "50,000 for the 50th!"

Local Leaders

Bring the Language Villages Global Network to life in your community by becoming a Local Leader. Local Leaders plan social events and activities for Language Village alumni in their communities and help those alumni get involved in activities that will contribute to the promotion and growth of our programs. If you are a natural party host and are looking to network with the Language Villages alumni in your area, then this is the opportunity for you. Sign up today!
