Immersion Weekends for Dakota Teachers
Concordia Language Villages, in collaboration with the American Indian Studies Department (AIS) of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, has been awarded a Minnesota Indian Affairs Council 2010 Dakota and Ojibwe Language Revitalization Grant to support the development of educational programs in Dakota language.
Learn a Language, Learn the World

On Target: Keeping Students in the Target Language

Incorporating Environmental Studies into the German classroom
The super energy-efficient BioHaus Environmental Living Center at the Turtle River Lake site of Concordia Language Villages, and the nature trails surrounding Waldsee will provide inspiration for teachers to develop lesson plans incorporating German environmentalism into their curriculum.
