Program Overview:
Immersed in beautiful surroundings, French food, and French-language conversation, both children and grown-ups absorb lessons about the larger world and the value of learning language. Family programs allow grandparents, parents, children, aunts, uncles, and cousins the opportunity to explore the French language and the cultures of the French-speaking world and to share experiences and build memories that will last a lifetime.
While family programs are tailored to the ages of the people attending, family program participants still enjoy the same authentic menus and many of the same fun-filled immersion experiences as youth in the French Summer Villages programs do.Locations:
French family weeks are located at our architecturally authentic French Language Village near Bemidji, Minn.
The French family weekend is located at Skogfjorden, the Norwegian Language Village near Bemidji, Minn. The French Language Village is in use by a charter school during the school year.
