Lisa Sethre-Hofstad, Ph.D.

Dr. Sethre-Hofstad has worked with the Concordia Language Villages for five years, including three years with Skogfjorden, the Norwegian Language Village, and now is in her third year directing the English language program for post-secondary students, Collegetown. Dr. Sethre-Hofstad’s interest in international travel and education began as an undergraduate at Concordia College, where she majored in Psychology and Scandinavian Studies. She has spent time living abroad in Australia and in Norway, and is currently in her 15th year teaching at the college.

In addition to Dr. Sethre-Hofstad, there will be at least one other faculty member from the English faculty at Concordia College who has background in ESL/ELL instruction at the college level for international students on campus.
