Video Project
Help Concordia Language Villages celebrate International Education Week by submitting a 30 second video that helps explain what you learned as a villager or staff member. In other words, explain in a creative and entertaining way how your Village experience has impacted your life. This project is open to current villagers, former villagers, and all staff past and present.
Some guidelines to consider:
- Please keep the video to 30 seconds.
- Be specific. Include examples, stories, anecdotes, and examples of Village life to illustrate your point.
- Use your Village name in your video. We’ll be posting these to one of our blogs and they will be online so identify yourself as” Andreas from Skogfjorden” or “Celina from El Lago del Bosque.”
- Use some language. We want everyone to be able to understand these, but please include the target language in at least a few instances.
- Concordia Language Villages is a family-friendly program – please keep this audience in mind as you shoot your video.
- Be creative and have some fun.
- If you are still a villager, this might be an interesting extra credit project for your language or global studies class – never hurts to ask your teacher!
Please submit your videos by following the directions on the form that can be found here.
Deadline for entries is November 30.
