Description: As the academic year draws to a close, it is time to celebrate the learning that has taken place during the year. At this webinar we will share ways to encourage students to reflect on what they have learned and the progress they have made towards greater proficiency in the target language. And we will share ways to showcase those student successes with school, home, and community.

Living German at Waldsee

Description: Join us for a brief description of our program including how Waldsee connects learning German to achieving exciting goals. If you are preparing for travel abroad or a career in science and technology or you are simply interested in fun activities like soccer and cooking a meal with friends, Waldsee is the place for you. Our program offers young people and families the chance to explore the dynamic cultures of German-speaking Europe and to immerse themselves in the Language without being overwhelmed. Dan Hamilton, long-time dean at Waldsee, will answer questions and help your family learn about "living the German language" at Waldsee this summer.

Earning High School Language Credit in Four Weeks: How It’s Possible

Description: Participants in a summer four-week “high school credit” session earn credit equivalent to an entire school year. This webinar will help students, parents, and teachers understand how it works: the balance of academics and fun, the schedule, typical content and activities, and determination of class level. We’ll talk about how credit is awarded and how to talk with teachers and school officials about it.
