Norwegian Rosemaling Workshops

Rosemaling workshops help participants learn to paint the intricate patterns and floral designs of this beautiful Norwegian art form. Various styles and sessions are offered for beginning, intermediate and advanced participants.
Norwegian Rosemaling comes to life during this unique workshop. Gold Medal Rosemaler instructors will teach participants the traits and treats of this old Norwegian painting. They will show different painting techniques in traditional and non-traditional styles of rosemaling including Telemark, Rogaland, Nisse, Norwegian forklore, scolls and border painting

Lodging
Lodging and meals are included in your tuition price as part of your stay at beautiful Skogfjorden. Meals are served in the upper level of the dining hall and offer Norwegian cuisine and atmosphere. Time for relaxing nature walks and good conversation over bottomless pots of coffee make this retreat a wonderful opportunity to concentrate on the art and culture of Norway.
