TWIN CITIES (VILLAGE EXPLORERS) DAY CAMPS

Twin Cities Day Camps are a great introduction to language, and a wonderful precursor to our overnight programs.  These programs are held at various locations throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.  Utilizing our trademark teaching methods, Twin Cities Day Camps include art, music, games and snacks to introduce the youngest learners to language and culture.  Programs run one week (4 or 5 days), 9:00am-noon.

2012 Theme: Lost in Time and Place
Our time machine is broken, and we need to find our way back to 2012!  Participants in these Chinese and Spanish language camps will be transported each day to a different year (past or future!) in another part of the world, and they need to find their way back to the present.  Perhaps the time travelers find themselves in Colombia in 1957 at the first Feria de las Flores parade.  Maybe they journey to the year 3012 at a New Year festival in Shanghai.  Whether beginning learners or more advanced speakers, the travelers will use Chinese or Spanish on their adventure.  Games, music and art will support their mission, and teamwork will be a key ingredient to finding their way home.
