Why travel with Concordia Language Villages?
Unlike most high school tours abroad, you'll be expected to speak in the target language and practice your language skills during the entire trip. We want you to take advantage of being surrounded by native speakers, helpful teachers and other motivated peers to really help you become a fluent speaker. It's the same philosophy we use to teach language in our programs in the U.S.
Learn Language On the Go
You'll learn about the culture of the country you're in through the study of its geography, history, customs and people as you improve your ability to communicate in both written and oral aspects of the language.
Find a Home Away from Home
Spending one week in a home stay with local families is often the highlight of the program for participants.
Travel with Language Teachers
Certified language teachers and native speakers provide instruction as well as practice and assessment using recognized strategies that have proven to be the most effective techniques in modern language learning.
Earn High School Language Credit
Participants who successfully complete the credit program (all but Cameroon) receive a transcript for one year of high school language credit.
