Adults

Learning about the languages and cultures of the world is a life-long interest for many people -- which is why adult international education is flourishing at Concordia.

You can focus on personal interest in a language, develop skills that help you professionally or finally take advantage of that travel seminar to a destination you've always dreamed about visiting. Concordia Global Seminars for adults provides alumni and friends options to extend global citizenship skills and learn about new places, people and languages.

Language Learning
These short-term programs at the Language Villages in Minnesota are tailored to the way adults learn languages and include cultural and historical background and camaraderie with your fellow "villagers" year after year.  Options also include Elderhostel only weeks and the French Voyageur Wilderness Program.

Cultural Workshops
These programs offer ways to interact with language and culture in a whole new way. From Norwegian-based interests such as rosemaling and Norwegian/American genealogy research to finding your voice at Rencontre de voix /voies Francophones.
