MN Department of Higher Education Scholarships

Do you want $1000 for a Language Villages program?

The Minnesota Department of Higher Education provides stipends to Minnesota residents on a first-come, first-served basis, to cover all or a portion of the direct cost for students in grades 3-11 to attend Concordia Language Villages during the summer of 2012. This opportunity is open to Minnesota residents currently in grades 3-11 who are eligible for free or reduced priced lunches. Kids in grades 7-11 must have an overall "C" average or its equivalent for the most recently recorded academic term. The stipend will cover the cost of the summer program up to a maximum amount of $1,000. To apply for these funds, please do the following:

  1. Complete and submit the OHE application form at https://www.ohe.state.mn.us/ssl/summerEnrichment/app.cfm
  2. Download and complete this registration form for one of our summer sessions. Note that for this program, you are required to send in a $125 deposit, not $300 as stated on the registration form.
  3. Mail in the deposit, registration form and verification of free or reduced priced lunches from your school. If you are in grades 7-11, you will also need to submit a copy of your last report card.

*Note: Your application is NOT complete until you send in ALL materials and complete steps 1-3.
