Assistant Cook
Our J-1 Visa does not authorize us to hire kitchen or nursing personnel from outside the United States.
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience with quantity cooking at a camp, resort, or public or private institution
• Interest in preparing ethnic foods
• Previous Concordia Language Villages or camping experience
• Oral proficiency in the target language preferred
Responsibilities
• Supervise the dining hall arrangements and cleanup
• Assume full kitchen responsibilities in the absence of the head cook
• Carry out necessary tasks as requested by the head cook
• Assist the head cook with menu planning
• Assist with preparation and serving of meals
• Assist with the kitchen cleanup
Compensation
Starting at $440 for a two-week period, room and board
