Transportation Assistant
Our J-1 Visa does not authorize us to hire support positions from outside the United States. Support positions are for U.S. citizens only.
Locations
• Bemidji
• Fargo
• Minneapolis/St. Paul
Qualifications
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Valid current driver’s license with good driving record
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Experience supervising youth ages 7-18 preferred
• Basic First Aid and Adult CPR preferred (required for some positions)
Responsibilities
• Supervise villagers at transportation location (airport, bus/van, transportation center or overnight location)
• Supervise bus loading/unloading
• Help keep weekly transportation charter plan on schedule
• Assist villagers with airport procedures
• Demonstrate care for villagers' safety and well being
• Provide a positive public relations image for all Language Village constituents (villagers, villager parents, Village staff, vendors and others)
Compensation
Hourly, set fee or a combination; depends on exact duty being filled. $8.00-$10.50/hour based upon experience and longevity. Most shifts provide a meal component and uniform.
