Transportation Coordinator
Our J-1 Visa does not authorize us to hire support positions from outside the United States. Support positions are for U.S. citizens only.
Location and Positions
• Bemidji: Bemidji Airport and Bemidji Interim
• Fargo/Moorhead Airport
• Twin Cities: Airport, Transportation Center and Overnight
Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Concordia Language Villages as villager, village parent, program participant or staff strongly preferred
• Valid current driver's license with good driving record
• Good organizational skills
• Good communications skills
• Flexible and creative problem solving skills
• Experience supervising youth age 7-18 preferred
• Basic First Aid and Adult CPR required
Responsibilities
• Coordinate all activities at your transportation hub based upon the weekly transportation plan
• Train and supervise staff for success at their specific job duties
• Work with vendors to maintain good working relationships and on-time schedules
• Assist in hiring summer transportation assistants if requested
• Manage the petty cash for your area weekly
• Turn in weekly time sheets and coordinator summary to manager of village support services in a complete and timely manner
• Work with other transportation coordinators to assure smooth flow of transportation system
• Communicate with villagers and families regarding transportation changes
• Maintain a positive public relations approach in all matters
Compensation
$250-$325/weekend (no room and board) or hourly; based upon experience and longevity
