Intellectually Guided Travel

Many Concordia College and Concordia Language Village alumni engage the world in a more sophisticated way as a result of their Concordia experiences. Concordia Global Seminars provides alumni and friends options to extend global citizenship skills and learn about new places, people and languages.

Emeritus and current Concordia College faculty and Concordia Language Village program leaders design seminars in one of four focused areas:

• Concordia Service Seminars provide a service to the people or communities in the developing world and involve a longer stay in one location, such as Global Language Villages.
  
• Concordia Discovery Seminars model Concordia's May Seminars and Exploration Seminars and feature a historical or cultural course of study to interesting destinations.
  

• Concordia Language Immersion Seminars offer travel abroad or short-term options at the Language Villages in Minnesota tailored to language acquisition. 
  
• Concordia Adventure Seminars indulge the intrepid traveler interested in challenging destinations that require flexibility and stamina.
