Vergas, Minn., Camp Trowbridge
Vergas is a small town in the lakes country of northwestern Minnesota. Located a few miles from Vergas on Lake Ida, Camp Trowbridge has operated as a traditional summer camp for kids for decades.

The German Language Village and the Russian Language Village have also been located at this site in the past. Birch, oak and pine forests offer shade on hot summer days, and the lake is the focal point of the camp. This site is known for spectacular sunsets, a cozy feel and the sound of loons.

Capacity: 85 villagers; traditional lakeside camp setting;cabins house 12 people each with bunkbeds and minimal storage space; two central bath buildings; activity building with large group space, and deck; activity building with screened porch and store; new dining hall; soccer field,volleyball court, swimming and canoeing beach and arts and crafts area.
