Summer Youth Programs (ages 7-18)
Waldsee (est. 1961) Join us next summer at Waldsee German Language Village! We offer two-week and four week immersion sessions, four-week high school credit sessions, four-week college credit sessions for high school students, and fun one-week exploratory sessions, all at our architecturally authentic site on Turtle River Lake near Bemidji, Minn.

Our core immersion programs offer active, hands-on, activity-based discoveries in German language and culture. As part of these core sessions, some villagers choose to delve deeper through special adventure programs -- Die Grüne Welle environmental program, Der Märchenwald (Forest of Legends) or Helvetia, an adventure program in Swiss culture. Learn about stage theater in German-speaking Europe at the Stadttheater session, practice reading and writing through the Kollegstufe, or DJ the latest hits on your own German radio show through Waldsee Radio!
