Global Language Villages offers adults an unparalleled opportunity to experience another country and culture through interaction with students who are learning English. This three-week program is a transformative journey that combines touring, teaching, and cultural exchange.

TRAVEL. Explore international cultures and sites.

Four-day tours at the beginning of your stay are designed to enhance your experience and to highlight the distinctive characteristics of the varied landscape of the host country. You’ll enjoy popular destinations and historic sites before immersing yourself in the more intimate setting of your host location. Walk on the Great Wall in China, explore Frida Kahlo's world in Mexico or see zebras, giraffes and lions on safari in Tanzania.

TEACH. Work with young people who want to learn English.
If you are a native English speaker and like working with children of all ages, your ability to coach, listen, speak and play with students is what we are looking for. No teaching certification is needed, although it is always welcomed.

VOLUNTEER.
Share your friendship and talents.
Are you an American history buff? Do you have a knack for handicrafts? Are you a musician ready for a singalong? When you share those interests and skills with the children participating in Global Language Villages, you help forge understanding and international friendships.

JOIN US. Twenty-one unforgettable days with a team of volunteers from all walks of life. Come alone or as a group.

You'll travel with an experienced team leader who has worked with the host site and provides an orientation for your team upon arrival in your host country. Most teams consist of 5-12 people for each site. You'll also work alongside teachers and staff from the host country.
