Where is Korean Spoken?
Korean is the most widely used language in Korea, and is the official language of both South and North Korea. The language is also spoken widely in
neighboring Yanbian, China. Worldwide, there are around 78 million Korean speakers, including large groups in the former Soviet Union, the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Japan.
Summer Youth Programs (ages 7-18) Sup sogŭi Hosu (est. 1999) is the most recent addition to
our Asian language programs. Join us next summer at the Korean Language
Village! We offer fun one-week exploratory, two-week immersion,
and four-week high school credit sessions at the new permanent Russian Language Village on Turtle River Lake near Bemidji, Minn. Don't worry, it's all Korean while we're there! click here to learn
