Sup sogui Hosu Schedule
Sup
sogui Hosu welcomes villagers of all ages and all linguistic,
cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Activities
You’ll have a chance to try
on a hanbok (the national costume), learn current Korean pop tunes
and traditional folksongs, and learn the steps to t’alch’um (mask dance) and play boisterous samulnori percussion. You can practice t’aekwondo (Korea’s internationally recognized martial art) with one of our staff blackbelts or try archery, one of Korea's favorites sports!
Foods
Come explore the language and traditions of Korea
by tasting authentic foods such as kimch’i (pickled
cabbage), pulgogi (barbecued beef), and pap (rice)...all
with traditional stainless steel chopsticks. The menu is big and varied and the family-style meals always delicious!
Learn the Language
No prior background in Korean is necessary. Native and expert speakers guide beginners to advanced learners in han’gul, Korea’s ingenious writing system. Come catch the excitement of learning this challenging East Asian language.
