Simtown is a simulated City consisting of five different branches:
Fine Arts Council, Chamber of Commerce, City Council, Parks and Rec and Media.
During nearly two
hours per day, Hometown is transformed into a small business:
Every villager has a job in one of the five branches, earns Simtown-money
for the work he does and can decide on what he does with the money.
The special Simtown-money is called “Homey” and was designed by villagers.
The money only has a value in Simtown where you can spend it for example for food or for jewellery, all self-made by other branches.
The Simtown Media is everywhere taking pictures and looking out for scandals to put in the newspaper meanwhile the so called Rangers tidy up Hometown to establish an even nicer atmosphere than there is already.
City Council is
in charge of the taxes, the grants, the Homepage and the picture Cd, but if
there’s trouble, the sheriff sometimes has to put someone in prison.
Sometimes people are quite busy, for example
before the deadline of the Newspaper, but normally the
atmosphere is relaxed and when there Is good weather some of the stands are
even outside so people can sit in the sun while buying an eating the food
they just bought.
